Where History Lives On
Over a century of history, thoughtfully preserved and reimagined.
The original pocket doors give you flexibility other venues simply can’t match,,, keep spaces intimate for dinner, then open everything up for dancing and conversation as the night unfolds. The layout was designed for gathering, allowing moments of privacy and connection to exist seamlessly within the same event.
Renovated in 1997 with this purpose in mind, the home was thoughtfully updated to honor its history while creating a space that feels vibrant, welcoming, and adaptable. It’s not a generic ballroom or office tower setting, but a place where every room supports the flow of your celebration and the experience you want your guests to have.
Today, Park Ave offers a setting where Newport’s heritage meets warm, elevated hospitality — a venue that feels personal, intentional, and truly one-of-a-kind.
A Home With a Story
Built circa 1898, 401 Park Avenue is a standout Colonial Revival mansion with late-Victorian interior detailing, located in Newport’s storied Mansion Hill Historic District.
The home was constructed for George Wiedemann Jr., a member of the Wiedemann brewing family whose name is deeply woven into Northern Kentucky’s “golden age” of brewing.
Over the decades, the property has lived many lives, yet what makes it rare is how much of its original character remained worthy of saving. the mansion underwent an 18-month restoration with a focus on historical accuracy, bringing back defining features like multiple working fireplaces, restored radiator heat, and richly finished rooms that still feel like stepping into a different era.
